For Interior Designers and Architects

The Bar Station Your Client Recommends

You put your name on the spec. A bar station has to read as a finished piece from the guest side and still run a Saturday night from the well, because the client will judge both. These do, and specifying them earns you margin on the project.

Interior designers can specify Kobayashi bar stations directly, with published dimensions, cutout drawings and finishes for drop-in or standalone installation. Trade terms apply to specified projects, and partner tier is set on approval.

Most bar equipment is specified blind. The catalog gives a length and a price, the drawings arrive after the order, and the first time anyone sees how it sits in the room is on install day. That is the risk you carry, not the supplier.

Everything you need to draw it, before you order

Every model publishes its full dimensions in inches and millimetres, the drop-in cutout it needs, the clearances around it and the services it calls for. You can place it on a plan and check it against the room before anyone commits.

It reads as millwork, not as equipment

The finish is the reason designers keep specifying it. 304 stainless throughout in 16 gauge, welded rather than bolted together, with the rinse sink, ice well and speed rail integrated into one body. There is no bolt-on hardware to design around and nothing that dates the room in two years.

The part your client actually notices

A bar that works is the difference between a room that photographs well and a room that runs well. These are laid out by someone who has worked the well, so ice, bottles, rinse and waste sit inside one reach zone. Your client feels that on the first busy night, and that is the part they tell people about.

Trade terms on specified projects

Designers and architects sit in the industry partner tier. You earn on projects you specify, the margin improves with multi-unit work, and project pricing is quoted per job rather than off a fixed list. Partner orders also get priority in the production queue, so you can give a client a delivery window you trust. Exact terms are set when we place you in a tier.

Integrated, Not Assembled

One Station, Every Function

Rinsing, washing and storage are already in the unit. Nothing to source separately, nothing bolted on afterwards, and no coordination between three suppliers to make one bar work. It is also why the footprint on your plan is a single number.

  • No separate rinse or wash sink to specify
  • Storage built into the station body
  • One integrated piece rather than assembled parts

Not sure which model fits the plan?

Answer a few questions about the venue, the guest count and the install type, and the matcher will point at the right size and configuration.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Anyone can order a station and every dimension you need to draw it is published on the product pages. The partner program exists so that designers who specify regularly earn on the projects they bring, and get priority production and the spec kit.

Yes. Spec sheets and product imagery come with the partner kit after approval, and each product page carries a downloadable spec and installation guide with dimensions in inches and millimetres.

Drop-in when the millwork is being built anyway and you want the deck flush with the surrounding counter. Standalone when you would rather not build a bar carcass at all, since it is freestanding on adjustable legs and needs only a drain and a supply. Both use the same working body.

It depends on the model and the current queue, and partner orders are prioritised. We give you a written window before you commit a date, rather than a general estimate.

No. There is no flat minimum order quantity to apply. Tier placement is based on how you specify or resell, and applications are reviewed case by case.
